The Grand Strand has long been a welcoming destination for visitors, homeowners, and responsible short-term rental (STR) operators. But overregulation threatens our rights as property owners and the future of STRs in our community.

If STR owners don’t speak up, city officials may assume there’s little opposition to overregulation—leading to policies that could restrict your rights, limit your income, and hurt North Myrtle Beach’s tourism-driven economy.
Local decision-makers need to hear from real homeowners and business owners who are directly impacted by these changes. By making your voice heard—whether through emails, public meetings, or spreading the word—you help ensure fair policies that protect responsible hosts, property rights, and the local economy.
Silence allows bad policies to move forward—action makes a difference!
